Anne Heche made her first appearance on TV in the American soap opera Another World. She was a model in the US who alleged her abusive father prior to his death from AIDS. Her relationship with her mother and the only surviving sister got estranged as they tried to defend her father. The actress was featured on a variety of film and TV shows such as "Fatal Desire," "The Brave," "Wild Side," as well as, more recently, "I Know What You did last Summer." The relationship she had to Ellen DeGeneres was a major controversy. She then married Coley Laffoon. However, she was divorced in the following year. Thereafter, she dated James Tupper and had another son with James Tupper. In a memoir entitled "Call My Crazy" she recounts the tale of her turbulent past, that includes her relationships with a lesbian and abusive father. Following her breakup with DeGeneres she was confronted with emotional and psychological problems for which treatment was needed. Anne Heche passed away in Los Angeles on 6 August 2022 six days following a deadly car accident. She was 53.
