The most-watched newscast in America is his newscast featuring dramatic footage and animated movements. Also, he is known for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. He was Diane Sawyer's primary replacement anchor prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight. He was the anchor for numerous primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He's been to a variety of countries around the globe covering the current news. The locations include Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. He's received several Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards along with honors and awards from and the Associated Press.
